REGIONAL DIRECTOR Winthrop Engineering and Contracting Limited (Winthrop) specialises in Turnkey Data Centre Solutions for global clients in cloud computing. Headquartered in Dublin, Winthrop has multiple major projects under construction across Europe for a range of blue-chip clients. The annual t/o is currently €850 million. The company now wishes to appoint a Regional Contracts Director who will lead a number of these projects across regions of mainland Europe, making a significant contribution to Winthrop’s current and future growth. As a key member of the senior management team, the Contracts Director will lead and manage the full spectrum of project delivery teams to ensure the successful completion of construction projects, across multiple sites, from a commercial and customer perspective; ensuring on-time, on-budget and on-specification delivery of all projects, monitoring client satisfaction across the cost, scope and timescales of projects and assisting in the development of existing and the formation of new project teams. The ideal candidate will be an experienced, senior construction professional with a strong engineering background and substantial experience in delivering multi-site, multi-disciplinary projects. They will be a highly motivated, dynamic and ‘handson’ team player with first class leadership and people management skills. The successful candidate will have outstanding communication skills and the ability to build robust and productive relationships with clients, consultants, suppliers and above all the Winthrop team. Extensive travel/presence in Europe may be required of the employee.
