An Instrumentation Scientist/ Engineer is required for our South Dublin based client - an innovator of advanced laboratory equipment. Please contact Diarmuid Buckley for full details. THE ROLE: * The position will report into the company's R&D Manager and the ideal candidate will be a multidisciplinary team player with a 'hands on and dynamic attitude. The role will involve: * Complex microscope operation. * System construction and testing. * Experimental design and set-up. * Data analysis. * Report generation. * Software testing. REQUIREMENTS: * Bachelors degree level or equivalent in physics or related discipline. * Ideally relevant industry experience or strong graduate may also be considered. * Hands on system design and construction. * Optical systems design and implementation. * Optical and scientific data analysis. * Vacuum systems and instrumentation desirable. * Programming, Python and/or LabView desirable. * Lasers/Laser plasmas knowledge desirable.
