Description

Marketing and Communications Executive B2C. This position will play a key role in the Communications Department. As Marketing and Communications Executive B2C you will be responsible for developing, planning, executing, and managing marketing and communications activities, to help achieve SEAI's business objectives. This role will be mostly, though not exclusively focussed on supporting the work of the consumer / citizen focussed teams and programmes. The communications team comprises offline and digital capabilities and expertise, with this role primarily responsible for offline deliverables. The successful candidate will join an enthusiastic and innovative team who are committed to the high-quality delivery of SEAI's communications. Key Responsibilities. Provide expert marketing and communications advice and services to assigned SEAI teams and programmes focussed on consumers and citizen engagement. This role also supports the activities of the SEAI's data and insights team. To develop and implement a range of marketing plans to support the achievement of the business objectives for assigned SEAI programmes. Manage workshops to define key messages for communicating often technical or complex concepts and content to specified audiences. Initiate content development for consumer / citizen audiences across different channels and media for subsequent preparation by SEAI's content specialist. Working with SEAI's appointed PR consultants, define, and implement impactful public relations plans. This includes preparing press releases, co-ordinating photography / photo-calls, responding to media queries and engaging key journalists. Work in close collaboration with the wider communications team to maximise communications and content effectiveness. Ensure full and proper use of SEAI's brand on all planned communications and manage any unauthorised third-party use of the brand. Working with the marketing communications manager, ensure SEAI's outbound sponsorship assets are fully optimised to achieve organisational positioning and desired business goals. Experience and Personal Qualities Required. A degree level (Level 8 NFQ) qualification in communications, marketing, business, or equivalent relevant qualification. Minimum three years' experience of planning and implementing strategic marketing communications activities across offline and digital channels. Excellent project management experience and ability to manage multiple service providers and internal customers to deliver projects on time and within budget. Good experience of a broad marketing mix including PR, advertising, events, direct marketing. Excellent written and oral communication. Drive and commitment to public sector values.
