A great new contract opportunity for a Sourcing Specialist with a view to extension and/or permanency in the longer term. You will be : Performing market analysis to find potential suppliers. Guiding internal business partners through the supplier selection process. Working cross-functionally to document requirements, build RFPs, & conduct negotiations. Handling the sourcing process, ensuring that it aligns with policies. Validating that suppliers are upholding contract T&Cs. Leading in supporting the company's cost savings & revenue generation business goals through the sourcing process for large spend category areas. Driving all aspects of complex strategic sourcing process, including but not limited to, taking lead on contract negotiations of business & pricing T&Cs, researching & providing data on pricing & key terms. Processing large amounts of & varying types of data to reach a win win for all. Working with Business Partners to resolve supplier related business issues for example, Contract language interpretation/ clarification. Maximising the company's purchasing power to achieve a lower cost while mitigating risk. Taking a lead role & work with multiple teams to guide in low-cost & highly tech qualified Suppliers to provide needed services. Presenting new products, tech. & services from existing/new suppliers to clients. Ideally you will have a. Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience. Supply chain sourcing experience & attention to detail. Ideally a Business degree in supply chain, engineering, or construction mgt. Lean Six Sigma cert; Project mgt. certification, such as (PMP) or Supply chain cert/Diploma. Program mgt., budget mgt., request-for-proposal, & vendor selection experience. Experience with site walk-throughs, construction insurance requirements & construction bidding processes. Experience in telco/Tech. or labour-based sourcing. A very competitive day rate is on offer - and it is negotiable.
