I am seeking an IT Procurement Category Manager ideally with financial services exposure to work on a new project within a well established, well funded organisation. You will manage end to end RFXs and special projects. A great opportunity if you are a Contractor who enjoys working from home mainly and managing the 360 procurement process. This company embraces hybrid working so your location can be anywhere in Ireland. As Procurement Category Manager, you will be part of team working on a special project to manage the IT software, hardware, telcos and licencing categories. You will: - Follow a compliant & pre-agreed Category Management process, delivering solutions to satisfy stakeholders, ensure risk avoidance, & whilst ultimately delivering value for money. Ideally you will have an understanding of CBI, and banking industry compliance but it is not essential. Work with internal s/holders to gather, assess & challenge business requirements. Manage & coordinate delivery of Procurement process, minimising risk, ensuring best practice policy & procedures; liaising with all s/holders including Legal, Compliance, Security, Data Protection, etc. Lead the mgt. of supplier presentations, analysis of commercial proposals & making recommendations. Liaising with all s/holders & leading on Contract & Supplier negotiations, including commercial terms. Manage supplier relationships through negotiating, implementing IT systems, services contracts & ensure compliance with service, cost, quality & delivery levels. Qualifications & Experience. A Degree ideally & or CIPS/IIPMM would be excellent. At least 5 years and ideally up to 10 years Procurement experience ideally in the financial services sector & ideally covering IT & professional services sourcing. Proven exp. in identifying & implementing cost saving initiatives. Strong people & stakeholder mgt. skills & a consistent record of building strong internal relationships at all levels. You can work alone & prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment. Great attention to detail & strong on MS Office, Data analysis; good presentation & communication skills. Rewards.
