Description

Business Systems Administrator - Dublin 12. As part of their continued growth our client seeks a Business Systems Administrator to drive quality and innovation across the business systems estate. As Business Systems Administrator you will be responsible for the smooth operation of key business systems (namely SAGE200 & Emydex) and using these systems to help drive operational efficiencies and continuous improvement across the business. You will have a deep understanding of manufacturing processes and proven experience in working with 3rd party technology suppliers. You will be comfortable working independently and with little oversight. You will take responsibility for day-to-day issue resolution, alongside driving upgrades and enhancements to the business systems estate. You will manage all aspects of engagement with internal and external stakeholders, reporting weekly to the Financial Controller on your progress. This is a role that provides a real opportunity for growth for the right individual. Interested applicants should have : • 1 0+ years’ experience working with business systems within a manufacturing environment, in either an implementation or support role. • Experience working with a leading ERP solution such as SAGE, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle or SAP, in either an implementation or support role. • Experience of working with leading reporting solutions such as Power BI or Tableau, in either an implementation or support role. • Experience of working with leading database technology such as Microsoft SQLServer or Oracle. Either hosted or deployed. • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with experience of working across various business departments (Finance, Production, Sales. • Experience of working with 3rd party providers to implement or support a business systems solution. • The ability to accurately diagnose issues, develop a remediation plan and drive that remediation plan to a successful conclusion. • The ability to identify enhancements to existing solutions, develop an implementation plan and drive that implementation plan to a successful conclusion. • The ability to work within support (ticket, SLA, root cause analysis) and project (estimate, plan, risk mitigation) based high pressure environments. • Experience supporting the identification and assessment of technology options as well as making recommendations on the most suitable choice (e.g. merits of different technology platforms / ecosystems and more general trends such as the shift to cloud and challenges of legacy IT modernisation. • An understanding of non-functional concerns such as performance, security, recoverability, and reliability. Desirable Requirements: • Experience working with Emydex v4. • Experience working with SAGE200. • ITL4, Prince or PMMI certification or equivalent. • Experience in the Enterprise Technology buying/evaluation process. • Experience negotiating commercial contracts with technology vendors.
