Key to the success of The Agricultural Trust is the cultivation and encouragement of innovation, nurturing of talent and further enhancement of the current excellent performance of its publications. Boyden have been retained to search for a Chief Executive Officer for The Agricultural Trust. Reporting to the Board of The Agricultural Trust, the CEO will provide leadership and direction for the organisation in accordance with the vision and strategy. The successful candidate will need to have a record of empathy with the sector along with proven exceptional leadership and commercial skills. They will be required to work very closely with the senior leadership team. The person in this role will be accountable for ensuring the maintenance and further development of content and delivery platforms while also maintaining and growing the commercial and strategic performance of The Agricultural Trust. A key responsibility of the CEO will be to support, guide and ensure the continuity of the current editorial excellence and commercial effectiveness of all publications and platforms and to safeguard the reputation of the organisation. Requirements. Candidates must be experienced at senior executive level with strong leadership and commercial acumen and preferably have previously worked with a board. Educated to degree level ideally in an area such as Agriculture, Business or Media, candidates must possess a deep knowledge of the sector and must have a strong affinity with the objectives of The Agricultural Trust. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills are vital. Experience of managing in a media environment would be desirable.
