Description

We are currently looking for Facility Manager for our City West based client. This role will have a key focus on ensuring consistent delivery of all facilities related - functions including engineering and facilities maintenance across all company's amenities and assets. Reporting to the Head of Indirect Procurement, the role holder will work cross functionally with a balance of internal and external stakeholders, to enable deficiencies in the delivery of site services, consistently seeking to drive change and improve facilities performance across the entire business. Duties and Responsibilities include: Adherence to all company procedures, codes of conduct and SOPs with a key focus on GDP and regulatory compliance (HandS, Buildings and Fire) within HPRA and PSI licenced facilities. Manage employment relationships and demonstrate leadership towards a team of employees and external contractors / vendors whose key responsibilities include provision of mechanical and electrical building services. Schedule, track and implement efficient and effective maintenance resources to perform preventative and corrective maintenance, to sustain facilities availability. Manage end to end life cycle of sub-contractors across all sites, including inductions, permit to work etc. to ensure tasks are performed and SLA's successfully met and closed out, in line with statutory, internal, and cost effective procedures. Develop and maintain team skills / knowledge in safety, quality, shared values, and technology to support department and company strategic objectives. Liaise with Head of Indirect Procurement in tendering works and selection of contractors. Manage and participate in both internal and external audits and ensure constant validity, maintenance, and conduction of Risk Assessments. Responsibility for the availability and maintenance of site drawings where appropriate. Responsibility and ownership of Maintenance Management System (Work Order, Asset Register. Responsible for business continuity budgeting and forecasting, to ensure cost effective management of expenditure within company's facilities. inclusive of energy and sustainability continuous improvement initiatives. Available for after-hour call-ins for equipment breakdown or emergency events. Approve and authorise PO's for works requests. Develop and manage projects from design across all sites. Competencies and Experience: Knowledge of maintenance of the following equipment is essential: Pumps, HVAC, LEV, Boilers, Compressors, Fire related equipment, Sprinklers, Generators, Cold Rooms (Fridge and Freezer), Roof Inspection and repair, Lighting, Electrical Distribution, Steam Systems, Security Systems, and ancillary services. Strong experience with Hard and Soft ServicesA degree or QQI level equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering.Minimum 5 years Mechanical and/or Electrical experience, with good understanding of the fundamentals of the various facilities and building services and building management systems including preventative maintenance systems.
