Senior Project Manager Sanderson have teamed up with a leading pension company to recruit a Senior Project Manager. The successful candidate will have overall responsibility for planning and leading the delivery of the change lifecycle for projects covering both business and technical driven change. Responsibilities. Ensure that all projects and initiatives are delivered on time, within scope and within budget. Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility. Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress. Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques. Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques. Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders, Requirements: Proven working experience in project management delivering both Business and Technical change initiatives in an insurance environment (Pensions or Protection preferable. Experienced in dealing with stakeholders at varying levels (including senior leadership) within the business. Experience of leading project teams with minimal support and supervision. Experience and/or knowledge of Agile and Waterfall delivery practices. Experience of working with external technology delivery partners and suppliers. Experience of managing IT application development and a good understanding of the full development lifecycle from requirements to implementation.
