Head of People & Culture. Sanderson recruiting for a Head of People and Culture, to further develop our client's foundation of being an outstanding employer with a track record for people development. As part of the leadership team you will ensure that people and culture remains central to business decision making. The mission is to be an employer of choice and to attract the best and brightest talent to the organisation. You will have at least ten years' experience in Human Resources with well-rounded expertise in Generalist HR, Learning & Development, Recruitment & Talent Management, Reward, Employee Engagement, D&I, Wellbeing, Culture as well as Change Management and HR Project Management. You will be conversant on current HR practices and emerging research on the most effective workplaces and able to drive execution of the People and Culture initiatives that are right fit for the business. Key Responsibilities: Mentor and support managers to become better leaders in a high-performance culture. Drive employee engagement initiatives and activities. Support teams with recruitment strategies and initiatives to attract high-calibre candidates. Lead on HR management (administration, policies and compliance), in partnership with external advisors and other internal resources; Oversee the approach to remuneration. Identify and coordinate company-wide training requirements and work with individual teams to guide and support team-specific training and mentoring initiatives; Build the employer brand to enable the business to be the company of choice for the best talent on the market. Own and drive initiatives with external organisations which support D&I, inc. Investors in Diversity, Certified Proud, Women's Aid, GPTW audits and accreditations. Support CEO with internal communication projects. Business integration and alignment of vision, values, processes & procedures within a newly acquired entity. Support the growth, scaling and engagement of teams for the next phase of growth within a remote first environment. Support leadership development for new managers via training, coaching and mentoring. Support and drive people managers with 1 to 1 meetings and ensuring proactive performance management processes. Lead on talent management systems and support long term talent pipelines which support scaling of the business and achieving strategic goals. Identify skills and talent gaps needed to grow the company; devise and implement talent strategies to meet those gaps. Skills & Experience. 10 or more years of experience in Hr with solid operational and strategic expertise. Business Integration and Change experience. Strong commercial outlook. Coaching qualification / accreditation an advantage. Experience working with teams in a remote environment and international teams. Strong facilitation skills - e.g. to design and run team workshops to support employee engagement initiatives and internal communications.
