Description

Head of Operations, People & Sustainability. A full-time, permanent vacancy has arisen for the role of Head of Operations, People & Sustainability. The Head of Operations, People & Sustainability will be responsible for the management of the People & Sustainability operations function. This role will work closely with the Chief People Officer and in partnership with the People and Sustainability Leadership Team. You will deliver added value services in Recruitment, Employee Onboarding & Experience, People Services, Occupational Health, Group Property Facilities and Office services as well as Group Learning Services. You will support and drive the Human Resources strategic agenda, participating and leading improvements to the current model, enhancing the overall control environment and working to proactively mitigate risk through effective governance. Key responsibilities. Working with CPO and People & Sustainability Leadership Team to set strategic priorities, inputting into the management and delivery of a People and Sustainability function. Lead the implementation of a new ERP system in collaboration with Group Finance and other colleagues as the system is developed and operationalised. Drive continuous improvement across the function through identifying and implementing process initiatives to streamline activities, remove duplication and bring synergies and efficiencies to the People and Sustainability function. Drive development of Talent Acquisition as a strategic priority. Oversight of the people services team, ensuring a seamless service culture across the employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding and learning services. Oversight of the group property facilities and office services team. Responsible for managing all current and future office/clinical facilities and maintenance requirements. Oversight of facilities operation ensuring that all in-house services provided are efficiently performed and implement changes when required to improve the services. Lead the development, implementation and maintenance of best practice policies, ensuring all policies and processes focus on supporting and improving the employee experience across the entire lifecycle. Accountable for HR system reporting and data integrity. Lead and develop team, providing coaching, developmental feedback and maintaining high levels of engagement. Skills and Experience. Deep knowledge of HR operations function and/or experience in a Shared Operation environment: i.e., operating procedures, operating model design, strategy. Hands on knowledge and a proven track record of end to end HRIS/ERP design, implementation and ongoing management of same. Excellent analytical skills including attention to detail combined with the skill to communicate concisely with senior colleagues and figures, both within and outside the organisation. Minimum of 10-15 years' experience, with significant experience managing and supporting HR shared services/ operating functions.
