Commercial Development Engineer - (Energy. This is a super new role working with external suppliers, internal stakeholders in the commercial development, NPI, R&D, IP, of a unique product offering alternative energy solutions for customers. You will. Develop Strategic Partnerships with suppliers essential to technology development & longer-term vision. Full partnership lifecycle from identification to introduction to formal agreements & ensuring enduring rel'ships. Supplier rel'ship lifecycle mgt. Deriving meaningful information to inform commercial & strategic decisions. Understanding national/international markets & changes. Manage commercial data collection & commercial model updates. Coordination within team & tools used to gain commercial data for strategic decision making. Continual data acquisition & market research to improve all aspects of the suite of tools used to inform costs & competitiveness. Product Cost Basis, Competitive Analysis, Market Fit, Profitability Forecasting, Scenario analysis, future energy system techno-economic models. Work with the Finance Manager on mergers & acquisitions. You will contribute to the following: - Demonstration & technology development. Achieving multiple prototypes & demonstrations. Planning is key; helping build commercial arrangements via key partners. Working with IP team & driving competitive position. Your Experience: Experience in electrical transmission market, regulation, infrastructure, , consenting, large assets such as renewable generation or cables, Or familiar with research institutions, technologies or OEMs in the energy sector. work with multiple s 'holders / suppliers at once. Strong interpersonal & rel'ship mgt. skills. interpret for commercial needs the response of engineers on technical subjects. Mgt. of external consultants. Good written & presentation skills. Your Qualifications. Degree qualified in an engineering/technical discipline or evidence of equivalent professional experience. Rewards.
