Description

Learning & Development Partner. Sanderson is recruiting for a Learning & Development partner to provide strategic, operational and tactical advice regarding organisation wide learning. Working with People Leaders this role will be responsible for the creation of a learning culture and will plan, develop and deliver employee learning and development programmes in line with business needs. Role Responsibilities. Ensure learning strategies align with the overall business and cultural direction in partnership with the Director of People. Develop, evolve and implement the learning curriculum in line with the strategic vision of the business. Manage a team of trainers delivering high quality training to the business. Develop a flexible range of delivery methods for learning interventions. Monitor and ensure continuous improvement of training courses and events. Partner with people leaders and key stakeholders to ensure their needs are met by customised learning and development solutions. Responsible for development and implementation of a high quality and progressive L&D programme to all levels of the business. Incorporate training analysis methodology, training design techniques, and evaluation and measurement components throughout the L&D lifecycle. Ownership and management of the organisational training budget to implement appropriate learning solutions in the most efficient and cost effective manner. Ad hoc project management for organisational level projects as required. Develop succession plans in partnership with HR Business Partners. Skills & Expertise: Excellent interpersonal skills driving influential communication. High level of attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to achieve tight deadlines to prioritise in a fast moving challenging environment. Comfortable public speaking and delivering key training sessions to all audiences. Experience in delivering on set learning objectives. Ability to work effectively both independently and as a part of a multi-functional matrixed team and can drive results through relationships with other people, stakeholders and partners. Partner with key stakeholders to gain buy in for investment.
