Scrum Master Sanderson have teamed up with a multinational insurance company to recruit a scrum master on a contract basis. The scrum master plays a key role in ensuring the programme meets and delivers on key workstream objectives on time and on budget. Responsibilities: Leading one or more team(s) implementing services and environments using infrastructure as code, and / or managing operational requests from internal customers. Guiding the team(s) on adopting Agile values, principles, and practices. · Supporting the Product Owner(s) in maintaining the Backlog and the progress towards Sprint Goals. Preparing reports and reporting regularly to project sponsor and stakeholders, improving transparency to allow the product and projects to be governed based on the organisation's governance requirements. Removing impediments ensuring the team(s) deliver the business outcomes agreed to. Facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution. Facilitating the ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand up, sprint retrospectives and release planning. Ensuring that the team(s) delivers high-quality software on time meeting the business goals. Provide input to the Management team to drive improvements in delivery, technology, and structure. Requirements. Min of 5yrs experience working in financial services. Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or equivalent. Experience working as a scrum master. Working knowledge of agile methodology, techniques, and frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban, to deliver solutions. Leadership and management experience. Excellent people and project management skills.
